Tzucasa’s “Miracle That You’re Here” Brings Depth and Emotion

London based artist Tzucasa mesmerises listeners with her track “Miracle That You’re Here”. Thus, the track with some of the deepest words that have been put into music topped with some smooth vocal and jingle ladened guitars offers a powerful pacify yet invigorating listening.

The song starts with a sudden kind of warm up with slow first guitar tones and constant bass drums. The first thing that hits me is Tzucasa’s voice; the sung parts feel really smooth as she navigates the tune. With her vocal harmonies she enriches the song and besides her vocal range varies in each section of the song. But no matter what she finishes singing, every word from her lips seems like she were tearfully expressing something meaningful.

The words explain existential concepts – questions each person asks himself, which makes the song universal. Despite the fact that the song has a very intimate tone the issues discussed will definitely come closer to numerous people.

The tune is plain but complex at the same time and it’s harmonised very well. Get down bass which possesses a funk feeling enhances the song’s melodies and powerful though sharp guitars. Thanks to snare, and especially hi-hats, percussion is performed creating a sense of rhythm without interrupting the overall tranquility. The reverb of the echo gives the impression of the general spaciousness of the track which at many times seems like a dream sequence.

Tzucasa does seem sincere in her performance while still being quite calculated. She doesn’t take center-stage while singing, but still perfectly and complementarily sings together with the instruments.

“Miracle That You’re Here” represents equal parts of philosophized quietness and melodic experimentation. Tzucasa balances out rock, funk, and ambient with much passion put into making a new song with a profound meaning. It is a track that makes a listener reflect deep but at the same time enjoy the music.
