Pam Ross, a UK musician, has revealed in her new song “Cornflakes and Beer” how she tried her hardest to deal with her heartbreak. Cornflakes and Beer was made to capture the feelings of someone looking for a solution to their pain following a breakup. Pam got it perfectly by pouring her heart out, and her voice delivery conveyed her emotions.
Pam Ross says she wrote the song a long time ago, but it has a particular place in her heart. She created this song about someone she had a love for, however, she was never genuinely crushed by the process, although she did have a drink with her cornflakes one Sunday morning after sleeping in till 11…wearing a shirt she gave her.
The main instruments utilized to support Pam’s vocals throughout the song are acoustic and piano, giving it an acoustic folk-pop sound. They matched wonderfully with Pam’s lyrics. Her voice has an incredible range in the hook. Even when she hits the highest notes, she has a unique personality, adding a technically outstanding quality that I find noteworthy.
Cornflakes and Beer is wonderfully produced, and has an acoustic vibe, and Pam’s smooth delivery of her lovely voice will have you wanting to listen to it over and over. Despite its melancholy tone, Cornflakes and Beer will make you grin and put you in a good mood.
