Wavewulf has dropped his third track, “In Every Blue” which is from his upcoming album titled “Unbreakable Soul. ” The song is embellished with melodious voice of Nala Spark and stresses on the value of friendship, and how friends stand by us during trying times.

Analogue synthesizers and drum machines were used in the production of “In Every Blue” which gives it a very organic and vintage feel. The track starts with melodic, sorrowful synths that provide a beautiful background and builds up with a powerful beat reminiscent of 808 and packed with hi-hats. The steady and rhythmic drums, combined with the ethereal synths provide listeners with a relaxing and reflective mode of listening.

The instrumental part is very basic but at the same time very powerful. The song begins with guitar strums, later the introduction of drums, and vocals. In the chorus section, there are elements of dance music which gives the overall feel of the track a contemporary touch. At some parts, there are changes in the beat, the song has a lively feel to it and does not bore the listener.

As for vocals, Nala does a competent job with her voice complementing the instrumental work and the song is well-structured and simply gorgeous. All the instruments play the role, making it polyphonic yet balanced where all the components can be clearly identified. The backing vocals make it more catchy and endearing which makes “In Every Blue” a beautiful song.

All in all, it can be said that “In Every Blue” proves Wavewulf’s aptitude at sound design and creating music. This is a warmly arranged tune containing heartfelt lyrics that are all about the power of friendship, accompanied by analog synths and contemporary percussion.
