Meeting a “Stranger” and clicking with them knowing you would not meet again or that friendship that transpired between you would not last is common in our life. Solo artist Absentvision has shared his experience concerning this in his new song titled “Stranger.”
“Stranger” is all about meeting someone by chance. Absentvision got the idea to write this song from a trip he made to Paris. He was inspired to create the track whilst reminiscing on the great weekend he had there and the amazing people he met whom he know he probably wouldn’t see for a long time or again. The lyrics are therefore all about how it feels to connect with someone quickly but knowing it won’t last. The song captures these emotions, making it a genuine and relatable experience. It’s like a snapshot of how relationships can be brief but meaningful.
There is a possibility that you may meet a stranger, and that someone will become a stranger. When you have spent priceless moments with the individual and will no longer be able to build any more memories with them, the sensation is the same in both of these situations.
The gentle and dreamy parts of the song express the happy feeling when you meet someone new. These parts make you remember the good times you shared, creating a cozy emotional atmosphere while the more rock-fuelled chorus expresses the sadness and frustration felt when reality hits and you know you’re about to lose this person soon.
Absentvision came up with the melodies and lyrics and then recorded the single in his home studio before sending it off to another producer who helped me complete the track.
When Absentvision started singing, I was amazed by his vocals and tones; he sounded different. Also his experience makes the words in the song feels real and catchy since he sang with emotions.
The instrumentation on the other hand is a perfect one. All elements were implemented appropriately which gave the song it needed feel. The song has a very relaxng feel despite the rhythm of the drums and how it were played.
