V of 40M, the ‘Architect of Revolutionary Rap’ has dropped an amazing music video for the motivational song “Martin Luther”. Besides being a track, this is a very strong assertion of the black race’s ability to stand on its own and be independent. This track is more than just music, it’s a strong call for Black empowerment, independence, and self-determination. The combination of the lyrics and the visuals gives the audience, distinctly, a message of uprising and call to stand up with Black community.

The music video adds a true theatrical plot executing the song scenes, which were shot in the church and outdoors with a group of people. These visuals represent togetherness, strength and struggle of the oppressed. The video is dedicated to the memory of Martin Luther King Junior but it also demonstrates that fight for freedom is still going on. This is a very effective video because it is very cinematic, and it is emotional, it captures the Black liberation movement.

In the song, V of 40M employs powerful and positive sounding word choices in order to discuss social oppression and Black self-sufficiency. They also put a sense of pride to listeners and challenge them to strive for the best life ahead. However, the music combines contemporary rhythms together with meaningful messages, which facilitate understanding of the meanings within songs.

Martin Luther is a constant reminder to the world for the fight equality and the Black people pride, hard work, and coming together as one. V of 40M shows that music can bring about change and anyone who believes in justice and empowering should watch this release.
