Kapil Seshasayee Unveils “Educate, Agitate, Organise” – A Bold Fusion of Protest and Carnatic Tradition

138

British-Tamil musician Kapil Seshasayee returns to his roots with “Educate, Agitate, Organise”, a powerful new release that channels the revolutionary words of Indian freedom fighter B.R. Ambedkar through the lens of Carnatic music. Known for his genre-blurring approach, Seshasayee blends intricate Indian classical influences with modern instrumentation, crafting a sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly contemporary.

With an electrifying mix of electric guitar, keys, synth, and flute, the track pulses with an energetic and uplifting mood, echoing the sonic landscapes of Khruangbin, Lapgan, and Anoushka Shankar. Each note carries the spirit of resistance, seamlessly weaving traditional Indian textures with innovative production.

“Educate, Agitate, Organise” is a call to action, a celebration of heritage, and a testament to the power of art in social movements.
