Therese Grankvist is an electro-pop artist from Sweden who has achieved massive success both as a solo artist and as part of
collaborations with other popular musicians. She got her start as a teenager, after leaving a voice message at Sony Sweden showcasing her vocal chops, she wow-ed Swedish producer Dr. Alban, who invited her to join the Eurodance project Drömhus. She gained traction in the late 1990s as the lead vocalist of Drömhus, producing two albums and a chart-topping cover of Freestyle’s “Vill Ha Dig.” The song went triple platinum in the
Nordic countries — a feat that only ABBA had accomplished before — and placed her at #1 in the Nordic official singles charts. In 2000 Therese left the band to pursue a solo career, releasing her debut album Acapulco in 2003.

Therese’s biggest solo hits include “Take Me Away” and “Put ‘Em High,” both of which charted in the UK’s Top 10. Her solo tracks have amassed over 2 million plays on YouTube, and a recent re-release of “Put ‘Em High” hit #1 in the Billboard Dance Charts, 10 years after its original release. She
has also co-written hits for other popular musicians such as Dannii Minogue, Shaznay Lewis, and Alcazar.

Therese has performed at prestigious events around the world, including Miami Winter Music Conference, Sydney’s Mardi Gras, and Stockholm Fashion Week. She entered the Melodifestivalen contest twice, once with Drömhus and once with glam pop band The Attic. Her recent European arena tour with Aqua and E Type contributed further to her global popularity.

Therese’s latest single, “Explorer,” was recorded in an old converted barn in the Swedish countryside, where she both captured the energy and beauty of nature, as well as the more vulnerable, exploratory side of herself. Her career has been marked by great success, both in her home country
of Sweden and internationally, making her one of Scandinavia’s most significant female artists.
