New song “It iz whut it iz” By Odd Holiday is Finally Out

1.3k

‘It Is Whut It Iz’, a brand-new song from the Odd Holiday album, is released by the musical duo Odd Holiday (Daylight Robbery and Mattic).

With the utmost intention, ‘It Is What It Is’ kicks off in highly unorthodox fashion with a frantic jazz drum solo spelling out the group member names before the beat kicks in. It’s as odd as it is attention grabbing. The beat itself is half psychedelic breakbeats half Gregorian
chanting. Dark, funky and utterly destroyed by Mattic’s vocal performance, he takes music that seems un-rappable and makes it feel as though it was made for rap.

By this point, Odd Holiday have proven their range with each single. The album and focus track come next as the final puzzle piece.
