Bright, bold and colorful – Belgium’s new pop sensation, Angy, is ready to get you hooked!

This Liege-born French speaking Belgian girl, hailing from Italian parents, whose real name is Angela Sciacqua, grew up to be known for her ferce live shows, rich dance sequences and crazy vocal skills – all of which is well showcased in her solo-concerts, “The Angy’s Show”.
After having claimed a top 3 spot in “The Voice Belgium”, bedazzled the judges in the French TF1 TV show “Good Singer”, shared stage with big names like Lara Fabian and toured Europe for 4 years, covering over 200 shows, with the popular show band “Cocktail de Nuit”, Angy is now ready to win more hearts with her own music!

Angy’s previous singles “I Can’t Stand It” and “Wrong” from the debut album “Let It Go”, portrayed both edgy and darker sides of her persona. Afer a brief hiatus, she is now back – bolder and more colorful than ever! Having spent the last year crafting and perfecting her upcoming album in collaboration with Norwegian super producer Martin Kleveland (Lionel Richie, Jessie J, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Madcon) and acclaimed songwriter Siv Marit Egseth (DARA, KAI, Brianna, P1Harmony, THE RAMPAGE, Lake Malawi), the frst out of many bops is being revealed.

Single No. 1, “Not Your Problem”, is an easy listening, snappy and well-crafted pop tune with subtle retro undertones resembling those of Meghan Trainor, carried with impressing vocals skills only Angy can deliver. With lyrics talking about carefreeness, conveying how you shouldn’t let anyone bring you down, there is no way you wouldn’t want to put on that wide smile and live life to the fullest afer hearing this song. Catchy melodies over a bouncy instrumental stacked with brass, piano hits and drum licks will have you singing along day in and out.

“Not Your Problem” is finally out and marks the beginning of the NEW Angy era.
