Dumb Belles Presents the Remastered Version Of Their Track “Asthmatic Mountain Song”

240

A girl gang by the name of Dumb Belles, oozing with skill and affection, is smashing through the gate with the remastered version of their first song “Asthmatic Mountain Song”. This release not only proves how far they have developed since they were just beginning but also confirms the fact that art has the power to transform even the darkest and unforeseen events in one’s life, such as heart

As the song unveils, listeners find themselves in a soundscape of dynamic drums, strings and chords that are really worth listening to, since they convey the mood well. The drums then start to groan, giving the track a solid rhythmic foundation. The strings, in turn, provide a rich tonal structure. The singers’ innate way of conveying the song, which is characterized by a calm but emotional flow of voice, makes listeners follow easily from the very first word.

In a musical sense “Asthmatic Mountain Song” draws and considers concepts like reflection, endurance, and the will to advance in the midst of the ordeal. The lyrics portray a very clear imagine of being lost in somewhere where one is new to either physically or emotionally and yet has the heavy memories of one’s previous experiences to deal with. Although they have experienced and felt the full weight of the obstacles on their way, a burst of determination and power comes through in their voice as they state.

A memorable moment in the song is when the strings rise to the top, accompanied by an enriching atmosphere of emotion and tension throughout the mid section of the track. Beside this, the choruses and solo performances also make the track to be more engaging and therefore, there is the feeling of being in the helping environment.

Lastly, I personally feel that this track embodies the strength of Dumb Belles at how they are able to lyrically and musically write songs that evoke strong emotions and experiences. Through its superb musical equipment, touching lyrics, and touching vocals, this reengravement version reminds of the group’s growth and stubbornness.
