438

The talented music duo, Dream of Venus namely Abby and Daryuish, touches the heart of musical lovers with their new music titled, “Ventura Highway.”

The song is a sorrowful ballad mixed with features of Pop and Classical influences that testifies the harmony between the music duo.

Daryuish started by creating some repeated piano chords saved on his laptop in Abby’s bedroom. They intended on creating a love song with a somber feel, and as Abby started to murmur over the piano chords, it was clear that it was going to be something outstanding.

Writing from personal experiences, she penned the lyrics to relieve anyone who has ever face broken heart and through her words explains what breakups brings about.
The lines like “But I’ll cry once more, then you’re out the door” and “I run back to you too easily” describes about keeping a person no matter what they did.

The chorus with lines like “I can’t breathe, but you never cared anyway” also shows the choking feeling of loving someone who do not cherish you.

The insight for “Ventura Highway” is from a road trip, during which much of the song was written. Amazingly the idea came as they were traveling north on Ventura Highway towards San Luis Obispo, which gave the son it’s title. The thoughts of bouncing melodies and lyrical ideas off each other during the trip inculcated the song with uniqueness and accuracy.

The instrumentation of the song builds balance throughout climaxing in a touching chorus and an instrumental interlude. This infusion of sad rock ballad and Pop with Classical undertones establishes a passionate story.
