In 2020, Mariaa’s musical journey reached new heights, winning the Women’s World Cup and participating in virtual concerts during the confinement period.
Her single “Wama” garnered attention with its captivating music video, and she embarked on a mini-tour across France. Collaborating with French reggae artists for the Solidarity Project further showcased her versatility and commitment to her craft.
In 2021, Mariaa received a nomination for the Victoires du Reggae in the International Artist of the Year category, won the jury prize at the Festival Nuits du Sud, and was one of the 10 finalists for the RFI Discovery Prize. She was also selected for MAPAS in the Canaries and the Carthage Musical Days.
