A while back Max Le Daron released his first Album project ‘Unless Tomorrow’, an afro infused gem with loads of (vocal) collaborations (Joey Le Soldat, Stevo Atambire, Gan Gah aka Cheb Runner, FOKN bois, Azizaa, T’Challa, Kirani Ayat, …). He’s now asked some of his favorite producers to have a fresh take on a couple of the tracks of the album, gearing them up for the dancefloor. Expect a bunch of club ready reworks by LABOK, ALVVA, LA DAME, PATRICK & BJF. The EP explores and blends together different facets of actual club sounds.

Freedom feat. Azizaa & Joey Le Soldat (LaBok Remix)
LaBok had a go on the Freedom track, a mid tempo burner about freedom and righteousness featuring vocals by Joey Le Soldat & Azizaa. He adds some Amapiano and UK Funky elements with a hinge of Dancehall vibes, the track is somehow reminiscent of other Max Le Daron club oriented tracks.

Amadora (Alvva Remix)
Alvva is a Barcelona based dj and producer, influenced by a large variety of club sounds, operating at the intersection of UK Garage, Bass and UK Funky.
She definitely pulled the UK Garage card on this one. Some sparse vocal elements hint at dancehall and there’s an overall floaty bouncy feel to it.

Naagtaba feat Joey le Soldat (La Dame Remix)
For this remix, Brussels based La Dame strips down the sound and adds percussive elements. There’s an overall dubby atmosphere to this production and an intelligent use of space giving the track an airy feeling while maintaining a deep club efficiency, flirting with Gqom vibes.

Mama Kollo feat Stevo Atambire (Patrick Remix)
British producer and DJ Patrick takes the tempo down giving the track an Amapiano feel. The touches of marimba but especially the vocal treatment let the track breathe. This fine production results in the perfect party starter.

Killer feat Kirani Ayat (BJF Remix)
This Fast paced remix fuses different elements and influences into a bold dance craze. With a beat hinting at bass heavy techno Brega, a killer melody, vocal snippets. Pure Fire. Jumpy nervous menacing jubilant.
