Mike Delph, a gifted singer-songwriter from Carmel, Indiana, released “Show Me the Way to Santa Fe”


Mike Delph, the talented singer-songwriter hailing from Carmel, Indiana, has unveiled a musical gem that invites listeners on a road trip of the soul titled, “Show Me the Way to Santa Fe,” This song is a delightful tribute to one of his favorite cities along the iconic Route 66 and it part of his debut album, “California Rain,” released  under the Foolish Heart Records label.

“Show Me the Way to Santa Fe” was inspired by Mike’s grandiose ambition to drive the full length of Route 66, from Chicago to Santa Monica, in honor of his wife’s 50th birthday. Hope for a better future and a break from the hectic pace of everyday life are common themes in the song.

The charming farmhouse in Atlanta, Indiana served as the backdrop for Mike Delph’s “California Rain” record, which showcases his impressive range as an artist. This album is full of creative songs that jive with country, pop, rock, and blues. The songs cover a wide range of subjects, from relationships and encouragement to more heavy themes like mortality, imagination, grief, and thoughts on the California wildfires.

“California Rain” is a musical excursion that demonstrates Mike’s breadth as a composer and performer; it is now playable on numerous prominent platforms. From George Michael and Otis Redding to Adele and Etta James, and even Dave Clark Five’s Mike Smith, his sound is shaped by a varied variety of influences. Iconic harmony groups such as the Everly Brothers, Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, the Beatles, ELO, the Bee Gees, and the Eagles, as well as renowned musicians such as John Lennon, Jeff Lynne, Neil Finn, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and Noel Gallagher, are Mike’s primary sources of musical inspiration.
