Robert Vendetta releases “Fool” single ahead of his 2024 album release

Robert Vendetta gets ready for the release for his upcoming album which is scheduled to be release in 2024 with a new single titled “Fool”

It has been more than fifteen years since the first concept for this song was born. Robert therefore made a few changes to it when he made the decision to put it in his upcoming album.  The storyline of the album relies heavily on this song because it depicts the point at which he reaches his lowest point before a turning point. Roberts aim was to compose a song that would be replete with a sense of hopelessness; hence this masterpiece.

The lyrics of this song is therefore among the most moving ones that Roberts has ever written and it talks about the deep regret that a person feels when they have given up the good things in life, even if it means losing connections that they consider to be very important.

“Fool” is characterized by its slow tempo and begins with a barely audible keyboard sound. In order to create a blend that is more retropop in nature, Robert drew inspiration from artists such as Ariana Grande, Laleh, and even Leonard Cohen. The keyboards and synths that power “Fool’s” arrangement create a rich and vibrant musical landscape, which is what gives the song its emotional range. Roberts’ delivery also added more spice to the song which will make you want more.

The piano on the song was played by Robert himself,  His band which consists of Anders Jansvik on drums, Torunn Christelle on mellotron and Håvard Solli on bass helped him to arrange the song and  Anders, Torunn, Bjørn Nes the artists János provided backing vocals.

Despite the fact that “Fool” is a slow paced song, the lyrics and the instruments played will uplift every listener.
