Seattle Band Space Owl Blends different styles in their new song “Flask”

1k

Imagine you’re about to hear something really cool! There’s a band called Space Owl from Seattle, and they just released a new music piece called “FLASK.” It’s not just any music; it’s like a big, exciting adventure for your ears. You know one thing, I thought It was instrumental only and  I was amazed when I heard vocals after the beat played for more than 2 minutes.

“FLASK” is a mix of different music styles, like when you hear rock, jazz, and even classical music all in one. The song will definitely take you through different feelings and sounds. The band is really good at playing their instruments, especially Ari Joshua on the guitar and the others on drums, bass, and keyboards. They’ve been making music together for more than ten years.

Each person in the band has their own special skills and talents. When they all work together, it’s like they bring different pieces to the table which helps them to create a music that are full of tiny details and really big, impressive sounds. It’s like painting a picture with music, where every band member adds something unique to make it both detailed and inspiring. As you keep listening, Space Owl cleverly blends in ideas from different music styles, like mixing colors on a palette. It’s like they’re making a musical picture that feels both familiar and super creative. It’s a bit like magic for your ears!

What made me love the song most is how it started with a classical  music vibe and later switched to a reggae vibe, that transformation is top notch! The song has different styles throughout, reggae at some point, classical music at some point and that singing section is just superb. It added some lovely vibe to the instrumentation.
