DSKYZD, a Pop/Rock Duo with over 30 years of musical experience, has released their long-anticipated album, “The Dilemma”
Their musical influences span classic rock, progressive rock, pop, and even a touch of modern country, which is evident in their guitar-driven rhythms and catchy vocals.
The duo consists of Chris Worley and Homer Roach, who have not only worked together on this project but have also collaborated on various other musical ventures in the past. Both musicians have extensive experience as studio musicians, live performers across different genres, and even as producers and recording engineers for other artists.
They spent the better part of 2022 writing, recording, and producing “The Dilemma” entirely in their own studio.
Chris from DSKYZD shared some insights about the project, saying, “Homer and I have been making music together since the early 1990s. We started working on the material for this album in November 2022. While we’re primarily guitar players, we play other instruments as well.
Every instrument and vocal on the album was performed by us. We enjoy the creative process of building a song, starting with a basic idea and adding layers of different instruments and textures, much like painting a picture. Our lyrics draw from our life experiences and our efforts to live a Christian lifestyle, even though we don’t want to be labeled as a ‘Christian’ band.”
