Spotify partners with Vibrate Studio to develop the Ghanaian music scene

Spotify disclosed its investment in Vibrate Studio, an Accra community recording studio and music business initiative, at a press conference.

Vibrate Studio’s capabilities and resources, including equipment and educational opportunities for aspiring musicians, producers, and members of the music industry, will be improved thanks to the investment, which would be made through the Creator Equity Fund, significantly enhancing Ghana’s alternative music scene.

In addition to discussing the company’s goals for Ghana and the rest of Africa, Phiona Okumu, Head of Music for Spotify Sub Saharan Africa, expressed her company’s happiness at having sponsored the Vibrate Studio initiative.

This initiative underscores Spotify’s commitment to helping local musicians succeed on a global scale by supporting their career development and talent promotion.

Spotify’s investment in Vibrate Studio is a noteworthy development for Ghana’s music industry and the alternative music scene.

It will not only give aspiring musicians the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, but it will also promote Ghana’s illustrious musical history on a global scale.

Sandy Alibo, the CEO of Surf Ghana, operates Vibrate Space in Accra. Future plans for Vibrate Studios and Ghana’s alternative music industry are exciting to us.
