Stonebwoy, a beloved Ghanaian superstar and the creator of the infectious “Afro-Dancehall,” a mashup of Reggae, Dancehall, and Fusions from Africa, today unveiled the cover art and tracklist of 5TH DIMENSION, his aptly named fifth career album, which is slated to hit stores on April 28th via Def Jam Recordings.
The album’s debut single, “Life & Money,” featuring Stormzy, was created by British-Ghanaian producer JAE5 and will appear on 5TH DIMENSION in addition to his current single “More Of You” (who has worked with the likes of Burna Boy, J Hus & Koffee.) The scorching song exemplifies Stonebwoy’s skillful blending of reggae, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and trap music, which has made him one of Africa’s most significant new young performers.
